Hello friends,
The vision in my right eye is much better since my recent surgery. Thank you for your prayers. I am having the same laser surgery on my left eye tomorrow morning at 9:15 am. Please pray that everything goes well, and that my vision problems are resolved.

Hello friends,
At 8:30 am tomorrow morning, I am having eye surgery to correct a vision problem called posterior capsule opacity, or secondary cataract. This is a condition that sometimes developes following cataract surgery. The surgeon will use a laser to burn a hole in a cloudy membrane that is obstructing the vision in my right eye. I will have the same surgery for my left eye in about two weeks. Please pray that everything goes well, and that my vision problems are resolved.

Browse our photo album for pictures from the trip! For some of us, our time in the Minnesotan wilderness was an exhausting and rewarding experience.. For the rest, well.. it was not as exhausting. Seriously though, I would have to say we all benefited from the time away from the normal distractions of life and conveniences. We grew closer to each other and, more importantly, closer to the Creator of this vast and spacious creation which we live in. He has spoken to us and I pray that we do not quickly forget what we have heard. What did you think about our trip now that you're back home again?
