The purpose of First Baptist Church is to bring lives into harmony with God and with each other through worship, discipleship, outreach, fellowship and stewardship. First Baptist Church Conducts Its Ministry
IN WORSHIP: By becoming acquainted with the glorious attributes and values of God and expressing His worth both privately and publicly. It also means serving Him with a heart of adoration and humility.
IN DISCIPLESHIP: By living Christ-like lives, giving loving service to others, and experiencing continuous spiritual growth through intimate fellowship with God.
IN OUTREACH: By freely sharing the message of Jesus Christ with others in obedience to the Great Commission, which includes the development of a missionary heart and the participation in world wide missions.
IN FELLOWSHIP: By seeking to demonstrate to the world by means of this local church the importance, oneness and privilege of being a part of His body.
IN STEWARDSHIP: By applying discipline and allowing Him to use our talents, gifts, time and substance in obedience to the will of God through the ministry of this local church.
